AgriNet Albania is an Albanian non-political, non-governmental and non-profit organization registered in February 2005 with headquarters in Korça and active in the regions of Korça, Elbasan and Peshkopia.
Vision and mission.
AgriNet aims to actively and directly participate in a sustainable social, economic and environmental development of communities living in rural areas in cooperation with their communities and other stakeholders.
AgriNet achieves its mission through the implementation of various projects in the field of rural development funded by national and international institutions, as well as through the involvement of communities, local governments and other organizations.
AgriNet is active in the following areas:
1. Supports the initiatives of farmers in organizing themselves into cooperative associations (associations or cooperatives) through increasing organizational capacity, providing advanced experiences, legal registration of organizations (including: developing the statute and its approval, as well as the foundation contract);
2. Provides technical assistance in the field of agricultural technologies and livestock breeding through the contribution of the foundation's specialists and specialists from other national and international agricultural institutions.
3. Supports and facilitates the marketing of agricultural and livestock products through establishing contacts with traders, visits and participation in exhibitions and fairs inside and outside the country.
4. Promotes and supports the participation of women in productive, social and economic activities with the aim of increasing their role in the farm, family and society;
5. Promotes and supports the participation of young people in productive, social and economic activities in order to increase their interest in agriculture;
6. Organizes groups of farmers for lobbying and representing their interests in central and local bodies and institutions;
7. Actively participates in establishing relationships with other actors and creating various cooperation networks.
